Printed ahead. Pressed live. Peeled in front of the crowd.

Live DTF transfers, pressed at your event in seconds.

Full-color, photo-real prints applied to shirts, jerseys, hats, and totes while your guests watch — then the peel, the reveal, and someone wearing your artwork before they leave the line. Merch Troop crews run the whole station.

The honest comparison

Why planners pick DTF for the live moment

We also screen print, embroider, and engrave — so this isn't a sales pitch against anyone. It's what we tell clients when they ask which method belongs in front of an audience.

Color, without compromise

A screen holds one ink color. DTF transfers carry the entire design — gradients, photographs, tiny text, sponsor lockups — in a single press. If your artwork has more than three colors, DTF reproduces it exactly; a live screen setup would force you to simplify it.

Many designs, one station

Because transfers are printed before the event, guests can choose from a menu of 5, 10, or 20 designs and sizes. Swapping designs takes zero changeover time. A live screen station is realistically locked to one or two.

Clean, fast, venue-friendly

No wet ink, no flash-cure smell, no drying racks. A press, a table, and a 20-amp circuit. Hotels and convention centers approve DTF stations easily, and each piece is wearable the second it cools.

Where screen printing still wins

Pre-producing 500 identical one-color shirts before the event? Screen printing is cheaper per piece and we'll tell you so. The live station and bulk pre-production often work together — we quote both.

The peel is the show

Print. Press. Peel. Wear.

  1. 01

    Print

Your artwork is printed edge-to-edge on transfer film in our Orange County shop, white underbase included, before the event.

  2. 02

    Press

Guest picks a garment and design. We align the transfer and press at calibrated heat for roughly 15 seconds.

  3. 03

    Peel

The film lifts away and the full-color print appears bonded into the fabric — the moment everyone films.

  4. 04

    Wear

A quick post-press to set the finish and it's handed back warm. Machine washable, stretchable, ready for photos.

Quality you can wash

Pressed live doesn't mean pressed loose.

The number one question we get: "will it survive the laundry?" Short answer — yes. We use commercial-grade film and powder adhesive, the same stock as our production shop, and every crew presses at verified temperature and dwell. Turn it inside out, wash cold, skip the iron on the print, and a live-pressed shirt outlasts most retail graphics. The long answer, with care details, is in our durability guide.

Blank quality matters too. We stock Bella+Canvas 3001 tees, Gildan heavyweights, Richardson 112 and Flexfit caps — or press on your approved merch.

Quick answers

What planners ask before booking

Are DTF transfers applied at an event as durable as shop-printed shirts?

Yes. Identical film, ink, and adhesive as production work, pressed at calibrated temperature and time. Expect 50+ washes with basic care. Full durability breakdown →

How is live DTF different from live screen printing?

No screens, no wet ink, no color limits, no changeover between designs — and each piece is done in about 15 seconds. See the full comparison →

What can you press onto?

Cotton, poly, blends, and nylon: tees, hoodies, jerseys, totes, caps. UV DTF handles tumblers and hard goods. If you're supplying the blanks, send us the spec and we'll confirm.
