Team & sports events
Your name. Your number. Pressed while you watch.
Nothing at a fan event outdraws a jersey station. Guests pick a name and number, watch it align on the platen, and walk away wearing proof they belong to the club.
Sports work is where live DTF personalization shines, because the product is inherently individual. We prep full alphabet and number kits in team colorways before the event, so "SMITH 23" takes one extra press cycle instead of a custom-print delay. Crests, sponsor patches, and wordmarks press alongside.
Where these stations show up
- Fan fests & watch parties: high-volume tee and scarf pressing with a short menu and fast line.
- Club launches & season kickoffs: premium hat bars and jersey personalization for invited supporters โ the keepsake format we ran for a San Diego club's launch night.
- Tournaments & leagues: team-by-team pressing across a weekend, including on-demand replacement numbers when rosters shift.
- Youth sports banquets: every player gets their name pressed on a hoodie โ parents queue longer than the kids.
The fabric question, answered
Performance jerseys are mostly polyester, and polyester is exactly where DTF outperforms older transfer types: it bonds at a temperature low enough to avoid scorching and dye migration on most performance fabrics, stretches with the knit, and holds fine detail like sponsor marks. Cotton tees, poly blends, and nylon shells all press cleanly at the same station โ one setup covers the whole merch table.
Durability matters more for sports gear than any other category, because these pieces get worn and washed weekly. The same 50+ wash standard applies; see how long DTF transfers last for the care details we hand fans at the station.
